Q:  What’s the major function of this Fruit and Vegetable Cleaner?
 A:  Deep cleans and clears the pesticide residues from the fruit and Vegetables; Removes the hormone residues from the meat and sea food; Purifies the water and air; Kills the bacteria of the fridge, sterilising the dishware, baby bottles etc.

Q:  How exactly does Ozone (O3) perform those functions?
 A: The application mechanism of ozone can be summarised into three aspects: (1) it has an effect on the cell membrane and increases its permeability, causing the matters in the cell to flow out and decreasing the cell activity; (2) it can reduce the activity of enzyme, which is essential to the basic metabolism and other activities of bacteria and is an important material for the formation of cells; (3) it destroys the genetic materials in the cells of bacteria and cause it to lose momentum. It is generally believed that ozone kills viruses by directly destroying their RNA and DNA. While during the elimination of microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi, the ozone first destroys the cell membrane, restraining the metabolism and growth, and then continues to destroy the tissue inside the membrane till the microorganism die completely.

Q:  Is there any weight requirement when we clean the fruit and vegetables and as well as meat?
A:  no, there is no strict requirement on the weight of the food to be sanitised. Generally, the water level should be above the food, i.e., the food should be completely immersed in the water.

Q: How long should I use to sanitise the fruit and Vegetables and how long for meat and Seafood?
A: 15 minutes for fruit and Vegetables, 20 minutes for meat and seafood.

Q:  I do not like the smell of the Ozone when the machine is working, what should I do, Is Ozone dangerous to health?
 A:  This machine produces limited amount of Ozone, which is within the Safety requirement. You are suggested to leave the machine working on its own and leave the kitchen or the room if you cannot resist on its smell.
